back from vaca y'all
the experience of travelling in the middle east was really an eye-opener
to the beauty and also the grostesque
Istanbul was perfectly mind-blowing, with centuries-old history
left me in awe; being able to appreciate such a magnificient environment and atmosphere there
plus the family made the trip a whole lot more interesting and exciting
as though we were on an adventure
making our own way to different corners of the fantabulous city
ferries, taxis, trams, the subway and trains were daily modes of transport
yes,in a day we were on all of the transports above
mostly that is
out of the blue, most of the nights we transformed into family game night
we became scrabble-crazed and i do not know specifically why
so that's weird but it sure was entertaining
and don't get me started on Dubai
it was my second time there and reminded me why it was one of the richest cities in the world
wealth and luxuries of the local Arabs was something that one would easily detect
they were crazy and insanely plus absurdly wealthy
and OMG were they more than willing to flaunt it
luxury cars were EVERYWHERE and it seemed like a staple to them
even taxis were BMWs for God sakes
and the interesting part was that the locals makes up less than 5% of Dubai's population
the rest are foreigners or permanent residents
hmmmm,sounds familiar huh?
buildings were as tall as they can get and shopping malls were typically
huge huge hugeso, that's Dubai for you
okay,i've described enough
next up pics, pics and more pics
wait for it
:)
